Beirut Blast Recovery

Following the catastrophic explosion that devastated Beirut on August 4th, 2020, and fueled by Mélanie’s deep love for Lebanon, the Association was determined to help those affected by this tragedy.

In assessing the aftermath, we identified a critical need to provide families with essential home appliances—such as refrigerators, ovens, and washing machines. With many homes damaged or destroyed, these basic necessities became essential to help restore a sense of normalcy for the affected families.

With the support of our generous donors, we were able to deliver 498 home appliances (147 fridges, 182 washing machines, and 169 ovens) to 346 households directly affected by the blast.
